RegenVorschau - RegenRadar: A Detailed Rain Forecast for Germany

RegenVorschau provides a short-term forecast of precipitation development for any location in Germany, based on radar measurements. This iPhone application allows users to choose their desired location and then loads the corresponding forecast, including rain probability and intensity for the next two hours.

In addition to the rain forecast, users can also access a radar map that displays the current rain and its movement direction. This feature provides a visual representation of the rain patterns in real-time, allowing users to plan their activities accordingly.

What sets RegenVorschau apart is its newly added wind map, which shows the wind flow at different altitudes (10m, 1500m, and 3000m). This feature helps users gain a better understanding of the weather conditions by visualizing the movement of precipitation clouds, which typically occur between 1500m and 3000m.

Please note that when adding a new location, users need to adjust the map until the desired place appears under the black cross. The blue dot on the map merely indicates the current location and serves as a reference point for orientation.
